From its inception in 2004, the Procan range of canopies by CSM has been developed using computer aided software technology. Today the company uses Solidworks® solid modelling and state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software to utilize the best technology and systems available to develop, design and manufacture all products. Quality sheet metal machinery ensures all the components in a CSM product are made to world class quality manufacturing standards and exacting tolerances. This way, we ensure our products deliver maximum weather and dust protection and many years of quality use.

CSM have adopted ‘Lean Manufacturing’ systems throughout the entire business. ‘Lean Manufacturing’ focuses on ‘Best Practices’, ‘5S’ and ‘Kanban’. These systems allow for a greater flexibility within the company, and improves communication and cross training of employees. ‘Kanban’ helps to keep stock holdings at sustainable levels thus reducing costs and confusion of products. ‘5S’ ensures that all work stations are adequately equipped and organized which produces an uncluttered, clean work environment.
